Maybe travel some of the most iconic tracks in the country?

Well, you get to do both on this Outback tagalong tour, which features the Birdsville and Strzelecki tracks.

Our trip begins in Tibooburra with a welcome dinner and a meet-and-greet. Leaving Tibooburra, we head into the Sturt National Park, through the dingo fence, ready for our camp at the Dig Tree. Dig Tree was the location of Depot 65 on the ill-fated Burke and Wills expedition. From the Dig Tree, we head for Haddon’s Corner, the north-eastern point of South Australia. This is a bush camp with no facilities. Our next stop is Birdsville, where we will spend 2 nights. After tackling Big Red, you can try a camel pie from the Birdsville bakery before being treated to dinner at the historic Birdsville Pub. We then head down the infamous Birdsville Track to Mungerannie.

After spending the night near the pub there, we head for Lyndhurst, which is the start of the Strzelecki Track. After spending the night we hit this famous track and make for the Old Blanchwater Station Ruins, another bush camp with no facilities.

Then it’s onto Cameron Corner, which is the junction of South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland. You could try a round of “3-state” golf while we camp there. Our final day is spent heading back to Tibooburra for our farewell dinner.
